Our social engagement
The Balance Initiative
A core part of our overall Inclusion and Diversity strategy is to focus on improving gender balance and retention at all levels across the firm, thus ensuring we have a truly diverse and inclusive workplace. We have set up an employee-led committee called The Balance Initiative. Their mission is to actively look at ways in which we will achieve this goal across a number of our key people areas such as recruitment, development, recognition and retention.
Mind Your Own Business
A great example of our social engagement is our partnership with the volunteer organisation Mind Your Own Business, which helps boys from vulnerable areas build their own micro-company. KPMG helped establish the programme in 2016 and we continue to increase our contribution by providing mentor teams and workshops.
